Doc is not the GM anymore.
Plus he is still the one that gave him that absurd contract.

Austin Rivers isn't that bad. Look up his numbers.

He isn't, but still does Corey Magette type dumb things late in the game.
I think the Clips are moving money around to land a big guy.

Two expiring contracts. Gortat is a stiff and Rivers jr greatly overestimates his own skills.

Anyone in particular?
Do they have room for a max contract?

Porter or Beal would have to be traded to get him. Wiz are over cap by a bit and Wall’s contract doubles in 19/20. That mahimini contract is killing their cap for another 2 years.

I'm thinking the Wiz are giving up on that back court.

I played basketball for years at the YMCA here in Santa Monica with Doc Rivers right after he retired.. I got to know him a little, smart and likeable guy.. I liked him.. Big legs great shot.. There would be pick up games a couple times a week.. 5-5 full court.. Doc would always show up and get the work out in.. Settle for the jumper mostly like his son.. ...
I didn't really appreciate the kid playing on the Clippers anyways.. Not a solid NBA point guard.. Also think a son has no business playing for his dad that is coaching an NBA team..
Good trade...

I am pretty sure a little worm like Lawrence Frank has Doc's sign off on the trade.
Anywho it's the Clippers so nobody really cares anyways. It's just something to BS about until free agency starts and real teams start doing business.

It was probably Jerry West's move.

Gortat is a solid player and big man in the league.. Great pick up for the Clippers now that I think about it.. I think it's a great trade for the Clips as long as they didn't have to give up a bunch of draft picks... I don't know the details involved.. Clippers just got alot better..
Gortat was a player for the Wiz last year.. Solid defender and could score a bit too.. Interesting how he will fit in with DeAndre Jordan down low though?

Hey Jake, are any of your insiders telling you about Lebron's landing place? Is he coming to the Lakers? What about George?

Jordan is gone now. I'm hoping for a nice deal with the Spurs.

Maverick called me the other day but it was about something else.
Gut tells me he stays in Cleveland but the books are making me question that.

Do you want him and George coming? I kind of do, and I kind of don't. I'd like to watch these kids mature, but having a superteam sounds fun, too.

I just want the Lakers to win. I would prefer to go a different route but if he wants to come here, then whatever. PG I am 100% on board with. I would take Leonard in a second as well. Doesn't sound like SA wants to deal him to the West though.

wiz won easily on age alone, 34 compared to 25, they will have to make a ton of moves this summer to not look like a D-league team

Problem with that theory is nobody is giving up anything for John wall. So you'd have to give up beal, younger/better of the two.
Only team I could see is a love for wall swap. Wall has a pretty similar playing style to wade.
