Nobody is going to walk into a golf shop and ask, "How did Brooks Koepka shoot today?" Just like they aren't going to ask what did Webb Simpson shoot? Simpson won the Players (5th major) and has won the U.S. Open. Clean cut American with a hotter chick than Koepka. Doesn't move the needle either. Next time you are in a room with your buddies and that Michelob beer commercial comes on...say, "Hey! That's Brooks Koepka!" Koepka made over $2 million for winning this U.S. Open. He can thank Tiger for that. Ratings were down on everything, including the majors before Tiger came back. Ratings go down, sponsorship money goes down, purses go down. I'd expect these U.S. Open weekend ratings to be horrific after Tiger missed the cut. Throw in the unwatchable course play on Sat. and Sundays ratings have to be low.
