i didn't read any of this thread till now and started reading it from latest post. I was more of a Vendela fan as well as Cathy Ireland and Elle Mcpherson. Is that the eighties? Paula was sweet tho

I discovered these guys while watching "Another State of Mind". I always really respected their straight edge values. This is from 1981.

The Dead Milkmen were pretty hilarious. I love these guys. They weren't too hardcore. It was comedy punk for the most part. This song from 1985 is hilarious.

The 2 main guys from this band went on to form Rancid in the 90's. Rancid's "...And out come the wolves" is one of the greatest "punk" albums of all time IMO. I wish more people from SBR had this type of "Knowledge" lol... This is from 1989.

One of my roommates in college was a huge Op Ivy guy so we listened to them quite a bit.

Dead Milkmen were funny and def were in the punk genre for just being punks not playing hardcore music.

What's crazy is that the Misfits recorded some of their best shit in the 70's and it still sounds awesome today.

We can't forget about the blues hits in the 80's as that was pretty cool also. I never took a liking til later on life but appreciate the sounds now. BB King I saw live in concert at the Hollywood Bowl and can't forget that also before he died.

I remember when I played Little League Football we went into Detroit to play the Denby Bulldogs and in big red letters spray painted on the Press Box it said "White Punks on Dope". The field had a barbwire fence around it and the grass was mostly dirt and small stones.

Very simple...when posting a video clip, select the youtube tab or button from the SBR tab or menu...then you should get a gray box that says "inset video link"...then just "cut and paste" the video link into the box...then click OK...and voila!
