#668This thread won't die.
Over a week ago I said to myself "this thread should have ended on it's own volition by now"
All threads on any boards eventually die, very few threads are legendary.Comment -

#670Good tune!! I used to watch SKoW regularly in my youth when I worked at the video store. I never really knew who sang that song. But as soon as I heard it, it made me think of the movie. Great movie! Pretty in Pink as well.Comment -

#679^^^...I'm a horror movie buff myself, John! Horror movies from the 70's and 80's were the best hands down! Didn't rely on cheesy gore (slashing overdone ad nauseum)...and didn't rely on garbage CGI effects with horrible acting...it was the actual plot, theme, content, and ambience of the movie sprinkled with the right blend of suspense and terror that kept you on the edge of your seat and made it a great horror flick....I mean look at this all-time classic werewolf transformation from the iconic horror film "The Howling" (1981)...no cgi, no computerized animated bullshit cartoonish crap, just some old school kick ass special effects with make-up artists who were light years ahead of their time!

She'd get wet under the belt just thinking about Steve Perry.
All us other Jersey boys called him Rat Boy.
Man, when I was a kid going to HS in NJ, we had some monster home grown acts.
Springsteen, Blondie, Bon Jovi, and on and on were Jersey acts.
My mom and dad grew up with the greatest of them all, Sinatra, then came the OG Frankie Valli.
The greatest looking 90 year old living today.
You know who knows more about Falsetto than Frankie Valli?
Nobody, that's who.
Nobody did what Elvis did and never will again, Michael too...
... and Frankie was the best ever at what he did too.
Opus 17 anyone?

#696i never cared for Journey, now having said that I think they were one band that produced some of the most epic of all what they call 'Rock Power Ballads"
I was just thinking about some of the epic power ballads from the 80's..
Poison, Skid Row, Heart, GnR, my God...Comment -
