#461I'm having a hard time deciding which was better...
Sting's amazing songwriting, power bass guitar chords, and vocals gives me goosebumps, especially the scream at 2:36
My God, this song just grabs you by the throat from the first chord and doesn't let go.
The Police put out a sound with three members (Sting, Copeland, and Summers) that most bands could produce with ten.
And you got this vastly underrated ditty from another of my all time 80's favorite.
Check out the Day Tripper reference Knopfler plays at the start of this.

Here's something that was actually from the 80's that I am sure many can appreciate. The Porsche 959. They only made 296 of them but many of the technological advancements that you see in cars today were born in the 959. These pics are from my recent trip to Germany where we took a trip to the Porsche museum.Comment -

#474The 1980 Ford Pinto. A true lemon! Maybe the worst car ever made.

#478Me too. Perhaps it was a Mandela Effect that only a affected a very small group of individuals.
On an unrelated note, here's a classic from 1982 called "Roxanna" by Dorothy.

#482My very first car ever that I bought brand new and paid off!...1989 Hyundai Excel 3 door hatchback for $2,495!!...last of the 4-speed stick shift transmission cars!...best deal ever!...heard nothing but horror stories...but changed the oil every 3,000 miles religiously and kept up with routine regular maintenance!...got 300,000 miles out of her!
It looked very similar to this but mine was light blue and in immaculate condition...

#483First car I ever owned was 1983 2 door Honda Civic 5 speed. Older sister gave it to me with 75,000 miles on it right out of high school. Ran like a champ and had plenty of leg room for this tall guy. Might have been the best car I've ever owned considering still to this day. Racked up almost 200,000 miles on that sucker and never maintained it or changed the oil either. It just ran and ran and never broke down and then I sold it in the end.
I think I did need to change the clutch on it at some point. Hey, but that was it! A true solid little runner!

#488Be in the club talking up some leg, ask them if they wanted to go for a ride in my vett. Once we got out to my car, I had to say Chevette.Comment -
