Afters years of choking the Caps have finally turned the corner, you could tell in the CBJ series. Down 2-0 losing the first 2 at home in OT, that would have ended the Caps for sure but this year they battled through and won. Ovechkin is finally developing that clutch factor he never had early in his career but Crosby was born with.

Ovechkin is the best player in the NHL this year, in years past he was always a great scorer but never a clutch performer. He is hungry to finally beat his nemesis Crosby and he will do it this year, just watch.

Penguins aren't talking like 2 time defending champions. They seem intimidated this series and I don't think that is a good sign for them. I'm afraid the Caps have broken them this year. Gm 1 Pens used their shear talent to win thinking this was going to be a skating series. Game 2 and 3 Caps turned it into a ruggedly brutal slugfest and Pens haven't found their will to respond.

He only plays 15-16 minutes, his average got exaggerated because of bunch of OT games with Columbus.
