carmelo has a 28 million dollar option that he will likely pick up, if he declines the option he's a free agent and nobody will offer him 28 million dollars next year, so we will see what's more important to melo getting paid or taking less money and getting to start

The answer to that was made clear early on in his career when he opted to get a max deal over playing for rings with wade and lebron

Not at this point in his career, that role is usually reserved for the younger hungrier players coming off a rookie deal

If you put Melo into perspective it's not rly a big deal
If you view him as a franchise player he will always disappoint but if you see him as always mercenary than he's fine

BINGO. With a Capital "B". Melo going NOWHERE. 28 million next year and then out of league.
This is why the NFL rules from a fans perspective. A hard cap and non-guaranteed contracts.
Just read Bucks have 30 million committed to Henson, Snell and Delly. Going to waste Giannis`s best years being handcuffed with shit contracts.

ive watched him all year, hes washed up. thats not the worst part. he demands to be a starter, selfish ego will never be able to play team ball and think outside the box. melo will never win a chip

Yeah, but there is a major difference between the 2.
Melo, never left it all on the floor and was always about himself above team. $$$ over rings. Weak character.
Russ. Can not dismiss he plays as hard as anyone to ever lace them up. That being said, he has deep psychological issues that have to be addressed for him to change and be a better team player. He also needs to hire a shooting coach in the offseason.

He should come off the bench, his skills are clearly diminishing... Liability on defense...
Maybe a shiiit team like Sacramento Kings will take him and start him.. Sacramento is the recycling bin of the NBA.. No one wants to go there...

This clown thinks it's everyone else's fault that he never wins anything, couldn't be him.The Warriors wouldn't touch him, Cleveland had a chance to trade for him,and didn't want him.
Where's he going to go really,im sure some team would give him a chance but they probably wouldn't be a Contender.
