I would never spend one dime on sports other than basic cable
Idiots go to games and support loser athletes that are overpaid

I'm not this year, but I've attended a ton of Tigers Opening Day games. I'll be going down to the park at least 10 times this year. They're rebuilding, but nothing beats being down at the park on a nice ass day or night.

$350 opening day for good seats while the fam is on spring break in Anaheim. $35 for great seats on day 2. Guess which game we are going to?

Yep, I go to Lion's games as well. Same w/ the Wings. Haven't been to a Pistons game in awhile.

If you've been to a Lions opening game I'm curious if the MLB Opener compares to it.?

I'll take MLB Opening Day over NFL, especially if you're talking about for the party atmosphere. So many people go downtown for it and it's just a party, man. People get down there first thing in the morning to get after it. You have your tailgating, and there is a block party that the local Radio Station hosts every year. Every damn bar is packed and if you happen to be a single dude, holy shit is there tons of targets down there. Chicks love Baseball.
MLB Opening Day > NFL Opening Day

Park free @ MGM in Detroit, walk 8 or 9 blocks to the park, StubHub seats for cheap. The seats that I like best are RF Grandstand @ Comerica and I've sat everywhere there. I'm excited I'll be getting tickets for dirt cheap this year while they're rebuilding lol
