very true - a loss is a loss.

Something similar that I’ve learned. I used to get buried taking the ML on a 7 point favorite. Give or take a few points. So instead of taking the ML because you don’t feel good laying the points...just take the points with the dog. When the gut says you can’t lay the points but like that team then it’s usually right that they won’t cover.
