Francis Ngannou's KO of Alistair Overeem could be the most brutal I remember seeing.

The beating Brock Lesnar took from Shane Carwin in round 1 (before Brock's illness) was memorable.

I like seeing submission finishes more than knockouts. It seems much more humane, efficient and artistic (in a way) when someone pulls off a slick sub and their opponent is unconscious in 5 seconds.

The way OSP slept Yushin Okami was artistic. The same with Ilir Latifi putting OSP to sleep. A lot of KO victories are spray and pray arm and leg flailing. It detracts from the result when someone is surprised (or even shocked) they finished a fight via KO. At least with a sub finish I geet an impression that it was a result of skill rather than random luck.

When anyone knocks a charging opponent out with a back stepping counter punch,
kick,knee, ETC.,the charger basically knocks himself out with own momentum.....

The counter puncher needs no power behind his strike nor can
have any while back stepping....
