Actually, TTWO might not be a bad one at all.

If they can hit 4th quarter estimates or show signs of getting there the appreciation from here will be nice.

yeah I think so. I'm bias because I'm a holder. I've been in TTWO for a long time now, pre-GTA 5 release.


I don't really trade unless I specifically state it. Right now I'd say is great time to get in TTWO if someone has no position or wants to add to it.

I think, but don't hold me to it, that we are getting into a bit of a sideways trading range here and that traders are going to play it safe and stay within these ranges for a bit of this year.

Bought a ton of GME, Gamestop.

Despite the multiple mis-gendering of a certain Ma'am, I picked it up.

Schwab upped the equity rating to A and it pays better than 13% dvd.

I figure at worse we can absorb a loss and still make out with the dividend but I expect there will be dividend buying soon.

There was mention of pot stocks a few posts back, two are on that list with CGC and TLRY.

Earnings season may not be kind to this sector, but they are bound to eventually rebound, in my opinion.

TTWO is also on that list, I think EA good news hurting the rest of the sector.

sold all of my SOXL shares a few days ago at 123 as my cost base was 99 and i secured a nice 24% gain in about 5 mos.

it is trading in the 125s today so i was obviously too early but my instincts were telling me to lock in the profit as NVDA reports today and that can go either way. it's a virtual toss up in my mind

I am still holding NRZ and STWD and collecting the divvy. NRZ down a bit but STWD up since i bought last Sept - principal about the same so i am happy with the divvy

I bot more NRZ at $17. They earned .58 and are paying 11.5%. They just keep on keeping on. Don't get crazy with them but they are proving they can pay .50 a quarter div.

STWD is a long term hold. I've warned this qtr could be choppy due to the acquisition. But I wouldn't go selling, there is no reason. They rather easily support their .48 dividend.

Their debt will be upgraded this year, they are already on "watch positive" by Moodys.

But let's wait until this very important qtrly report. We need to see how the acquisition of GE's financing unit fits.

I’ve been in this one for a while. My hopes are not real high on this Qtr. The chart warns us this could be a rough qtr.

This is a long term play. Look at the future earnings estimates. They are looking for $90 a share in a couple of years. This stock will triple in the next few years. Put a sell order in for $450 and forget about it.

I have found I like ETFs better. I like the 3 beta and higher. Very volatile yes, but that's when you can make money !!!

but i like to use a small percentage of my portfolio to buy individual growth stocks in more short term/intermediate term investing. this is a gambling forum after all.

NRZ down 4% on a cap raise.

This is a very good 12% play.

Yeah, so basically NRZ sold 40 million shares of common stock and a shareholder (Fortress Investment Group) exercised options, selling the other 300,000 shares.

That's 40.3 million shares sold for about 665 million, $16.50 per share.

That's about 11% of the free float and about 8 days worth of trading volume.

NRZ has also granted those underwriters a 30-day option to purchase an additional 6 million shares of common stock.

So we could see a much smaller drop, but another drop.

Go back to the beginning of last November, same thing happened and NRZ raised $433 million; that's 1.1 billion, cash, when you add the two together.

They plan to invest the capital raised from today's deal.
