Market reversed the selling to upside because Biden will outline his stimulus project next Thursday.
Miners were down hard today so I'm betting on a rebound with miners via DUST puts.

Even though Joe Manchin said he's against 2k stim checks, Biden's overall stim plan will be in the trilions
so the market is no longer expected to roll over next week.

Appreciate your input. Unfortunately I had CRSP on watch and never acted. I am very diversified (50 holdings or so) and the number of "wish I would have" is long. On the positive side I've done extremely well for preservation of capital portfolio.

This whole stim plan thing though is ridiculous. The small segment of folks (probably 10% or less) that got crushed and are still getting crushed by by the pandemic need massive help - more than anyone will do, but the economy doesn't need "stimulus". Wasting money by raining it everywhere is a massive mistake.

What are you smoking? My uncle laid off 300 people. Food lines in Texas stretch for miles. They are evicting people by the thousand in Houston alone. Smh

Yeah, those are the people that need help, more than anyone is offering. But that doesn't mean sending 200 million $2,000 stimulus checks. More like 20 million $20,000 checks.

I still contend that 90% of people are as good or better of financially and employment-wise as a year ago. So help the 10% or so suffering. I'm a proponent of a huge refundable tax credit for people suffered an income drop in 2020. But why send checks to people who made as much or more in 2020? The help needs to be targeted.

Dividends are only good if you have tons of shares.

Time will tell all. Inflation is/will be the downfall of most. Hard assets like RE might be the answer but I don't really know.
