I like ALB from this spot the stochastic have a wide gap the trend is up, and money looks like it is going in with room to run until the mid 90's.
Usually the snowballer comes in with a chart to show all of the stats you need, but I like it from a quick lookie for a few seconds.

One other area to keep an eye on is corporate security. The more people work from home the more focus will be on network security. This is an area I have prior knowledge. I own some OKTA but really blew it with PAN (Palo Alto). They dropped somewhere near 180 and are now circa 240.

As for today, I bet the Trumpenator comes out with some pretty rough statement against china. You can kiss Hong Kong bye bye in terms of being a financial center for the world. I can't believe that the occurrences over there having been having an effect yet on our stock market. He will make his statement after the close of course so that the plunger boys can come up with another vaccine can'tidate. I've been shorting the company the day after the announced trails and doing very good, so don't chase, just short right before the close that day. Check it out for youself, Gilead, Monderna, and the other one which the name escapes me now but it was the latest one from last week. Check all of their charts and you can see what a good short call that is on the day after the announcement. I perdict it happens again next Monday. Partly due to the China fallout, and partly because the market is way ahead of itself and it will need a hype story to keep from going below the magical support that the plunger boys worked so hard to get above. The rotation that is needed is in action although the breath and follow through in volume just aren't there.
very tough to argue your points. i think the third pharma stock you are thinking of is NVAX

they are pushing hard for the vaccine and letting it be known lol

I have had CRM on my watch list and have failed to execute. I'll look a little closer and appreciate your input.

Another (Lithium/LIACF) totally speculative I took a small flyer on. I think I got it from MarketBeat. Lithium mining in Nevada. I'm somewhat focused on industries etc being brought back to domestic production. Think we're headed here for a time to come. A large part of ALB is non-domestic.

just in case anyone wants to take a look at what's going on there.

seems like the way to play it, good luck

i'm looking at the august 80s for about 6... not cheap but i think there's a good chance this goes back down to the 60s in the next few months

no idea why someone would want to pay 30x earnings for a retailer who has estimates for 2022 that are below last year's... credit suisse raised their price target to $57 today with the stock at 84

I'm getting out of all my long plays and severely cutting back on the short plays before the President shows up to shit all over anything I got going on. I thought for sure he would wait until the end of the day after the close of the markets to announce anything, but I guess not, he is going to stumble out to speak. I gots a bad feeling about this one. Maybe indigestion but I'm still going with it. The Fed didn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy today either, so I'll pause and re-evaluate this weekend.

unreal I had GMBL and GMBLW on my hot list but didn't buy
it was 3 now over 8.
SLGG up 20%. still thinking about William Hill and MGM
Paddy PDYPY is soon to be ticker changed to Flutter Ent., their buyout of Stars Group is completed.
It will probably get a Nasdaq or NYSE listing, not just an ADR.
Casino openings are going to be very slow as will sports
Cannot help but wonder if the market has moved ahead of facts with some of them.
Remember also traditionally when micro caps rise last it is the signal of a completed cycle

ZOOM about to report. They've been giving their service away to gain market share. Not sure where thier income stream is coming from. Long term secure web conferencing like Cisco\Webex well entrenched in corporate.

                            Time to short ZOOM?

Plenty of stocks in the portfolio there.
I just went neutral Friday right before the President made his china announcement so I don't have many stocks I am current holding long or short.
The FED needs to rotate into the bank stocks because that is where small businesses get the money to start with, so with out the financials this market will remain sickly. I'm looking for the FANG stocks to continue to roll over and money will try to rotate into the banks so I'll be looking to short the FANG when I get a chance. GS, BAC, JPM are all on my long list, as well as the whole sector etf XLF because those will have to start leading for the economy to come back and the FED isn't gonna let the market collapse just yet during an election year. The healthcare stocks you sited are all in my target sites for short plays if they come out with a vaccine story. Basically, I'll let them run for the day of the vaccine announcement and then short them right before the close. Take a look at the vaccine stocks for the last 3 hype jobs and you'll see what a great play that is. I'll also be looking at the industrial sector etf XLI and names like CAT and BA. Also looking for long plays in energy like XOM and SLB. I'm not in any of these at the moment like I said, but next week I'm be looking for an entry in them.

For the super long term I'm holding SPH because it is a slow mover but has 15% dividend every year. I am also in many utilities due to the low interest rates and these consist of my entire portfolio right now.

Tend to agree, sectors like Finance, Industrials and Energy are undervalued & poised for buys in June. That’s a pretty sweet dividend on SPH.

also agree with Vaccine & pharm day & swing trade hype killing it. I look at the gap up charts and focus on biomedical Incs when I can and if I have time find a good buy at Mid morning & collect a nice paycheck by lunch. I happened to do this with ADAP & Sonoma on friday.

Yes, but I think Zoom has positioned itself to have more market share, if not the most. Just my opininion!

Maybe buy stock in companies that equip police cars and companies that manufacture tear gas. They are going to need to replace a lot of police cars and buy more tear gas after the riots are over.

The CARES Act provides qualified individuals affected by the coronavirus with access to retirement savings that typically would be inaccessible or subject to early withdrawal penalties. The new law waives the 10 percent early withdrawal tax penalty (that generally applies to early distributions for individuals under 59 ½ years old) from qualified retirement plans (e.g., 401(k) plans, 403(b) plans and traditional IRAs) for coronavirus-related distributions (CRDs) made between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2020.
