Duke 1, Kentucky was 2. They have 5 guys in the Top 30 on this years team.

this year i dont even know who is supposed to be their best players. not impressive at all.

yet 4 guys projected to be top 16 nba picks

Duke’s class gets all the attention, but this Kentucky team had/has a ton of potential. Quade Green being hurt has hurt them quite a bit and they do not have that eraser in the back to block shots as previous years. This teams needs some toughness.

One and done recruitment model is a bust. Tons of hype very little results. Izzo recruits 3 star players and they stick around for 4 years and he is constantly in the final four.

One of UK’s best recruits Vanderbilt hasn’t played this season, he’s a key missing piece.

But yeah, in general, last year I was hype about Monk Fox & Bam going into the season. This year I was underwhelmed with UK frosh class. Plus this year is the youngest team a Cal has ever had, making it very difficult to be as good as the last few years.
