Actually a full time worker at Walmart makes enough money to keep a family of 3 above the federal poverty level, possibly 4 when you factor in child tax credits.

I'm defending the middle working class and the poor hard working folks that want to get or keep their current jobs.. Nothing more..

I can care less for the rich and big business owners getting richer as long as they can stay in America and create more jobs..

I went and looked at Walmart's new $11 an hour minimum with the new GOP tax plan. If the child credit is refundable, meaning you get 2k per child, one full time Walmart employee making $11 an hour can support a family of 7. They'll be under the poverty level by $100 a year, between 7 people. Imagine that, one worker supporting 7 people while working at Walmart.
