I was out of line with some posters the night I was banned. I could see getting banned for that. But why did you ban me for creating a duplicate thread?

I had 2 ************ with my information on it stolen, luckily the debit card wasn't. Other forums said yea, they knew about the 5dimes problem for months. I should've been able to know about it here as I do not check other forums regularly. How could I get banned for warning people about a problem at 5dimes that I personally experienced????

Honestly, I am sorry I banned you when a normal infraction was probably what I should have done. But that's because you get cut more slack than average as you are a popular regular poster. Other people would get a 3 point infraction/ban for the thread re-post generally.

It's tough for me to explain with confidence about the 5D credit card stuff as most of what I know has come from users emailing me and not directly from 5D or SBR. I believe it's more complicated that what it appears and authorities are trying to capture the group who engineered the problem. I 'think' it's about a gang trying to manipulate the share price of the processor company. I get that it's a huge pain the ass but I believe no one is actually losing any money or having any trouble having cards replaced. I assume your bank told you of the problem and had a new card out to you really fast? And fraud charges were stuff like game tickets and other intangibles that are already high risk transactions as they want the card companies to detect it fast and create a big stir. I do get that it looks bad and I would really prefer to not have to delete threads about it but am fairly confident it's not just some cover up and is being done for the greater good and nobody should lose any money or have much hassle getting cards replaced fast.

Anyway, hope there is no lasting hard feelings. Wasn't meant to be personal at all.
