I had about $ 75 leftover from sports book transactions that I forgot about. Worth about 2000 now. Sickest I've ever been about a 25x return.Comment -

Plenty of people had told me about having 5 to 10 back when it was around $2000 or less.
I'd assume most of them held onto it. I'd guess lots of people around here have made well into 5 figures and more than a few into 6 figures at current rates now.

JakePeavy BEGGED me to buy at the bash this year....just too busy with life so did nothing...had I bought in Feb 2017 it was settling around 1000......when SBR began selling bitcoin for bet points in Sept I made my 1st buy for 6400. I've purchased 2k from bet points and another 500 on my own. Even using today's current rate (14,814) that 500 "investment" is worth a little over 6200....not bad for just pizza card points

Bought 25 @ $42 years ago, sold 10 I think at $27 (for a loss) just to see how the shit worked. Sold another 10 for $57. Bought 7 more at $400 last year. A good friend told me last summer to sell the farm and buy as much BTC, LTC and ETH. I bought some but didn't listen well. I think ETH was $5 and LTC was $2.50. How I didn't hammer it then is beyond me??? I was kicking ass in stocks, which I think made me not pay attention.
The crazy thing is that I was telling my friends to buy as much as they could but I sat on what I had and watched the explosion.

We knew about bitcoin but saw it as better form of depositing into books. As soon as we turned cash into bitcoin they were like hot potatoes until we saw our book balance get credited.
The first time I really paid attention to it was when 5dimes started offering it as a deposit/withdrawal option. I think it was around $12-20 then. I remember thinking there was no way I wanted Tony sending me a bunch of internet coins. I think you could only withdraw in bitcoin if you first deposited in bitcoin and I was never doing that back then, so not like it was a near miss. OH WELLComment -

Back in 2011 I bought 100 at $20 each. Price went up to $30 and then dropped to $8 before I sold. I thought it was another "tulip" and would go to $1 so I got out before it went down too far. Felt like a fool.
In 2013 I read an article where China was buying half the bitcoins up from something like 5% a year before so I bought $10k worth at $300 per bitcoin. Kept buying when it went up to $1000 and then crashed.
I was able to buy $10k worth of Quark coin and that went nuts upward but peaked out at 30 cents per coin and then went down to 10 cents per coin until I cashed out. I drank the Kool Aid on that one but I made a good profit from where I first bought it. I'm not at liberty in a public forum to say how much I made but I used the profits to make a down payment on my house.Comment -

That's what I did as well. I looked at the chart to see some coins that had not been hit yet, that were still low price for months. It seems eventually you will hit something like that.
