His mom is remarried

it is too traumatic to go "home" for thanksgiving as he does not like stepfather

so they go on vacation instead to get the feeling that it is a vacation instead

Shocka I'm curious how old you are. I too sent my moms on a few vacations and paid for her to fly to where ever I was living more than I can count. Never did I go on vacation with her until she got older. I realized time was short and I didn't want to miss out, so I joined her on a few. Maybe that's where Morino is at, dunno

Yeah, lol, my mom is 66 and this was a thanksgiving vacation, not spring break, vacationing with your parents and siblings when you are older is not weird at all.

late 20's... I work like a dog and I'm going away for my bday in a few weeks so I sent her on vacation for the weekend. plane tix and hotel for 3 days wasn't very steep. paid $17xx + taxes (airfare was the priciest part of the ordeal)

I did fine trading but I traded when I was studying for the bar exam and had to decide if I wanted to trade or practice law full time after passing the bar. I still trade occasionally but there are only so many hours in the day.
