I tend to listen to the players no offense KVB

I'm sure you're an awesome talent evaluator.
My contacts in SF liked Kap but couldn't get over his poor decision making, especially in the fourth quarter. The coaches could not teach him otherwise.

SF would have likely cut him had he not injured his shoulder.

There's nothing wrong with "blackballing" a mediocre player who brings distractions to the game.

I don't see Manziel suing for collusion, but nobody will touch him, and for good reason.

I'd love to see Kap play, but he created an environment contradictory to that, and you can't blame the NFL owners for that.

The activists blew it and now the owners will have to meet and save the cause while respecting their paid for obligation to the US and the military.

The white owners many are hating on are going to be the ones to make sure the original issues are addressed.

They don't need Kap for that, or as a football player.

In other news, the drama is heating up in the NBA with players being told not to kneel during the Anthem.. NBA commissioner sends out the memo's you must stand.. Players not liking the memo...

John Wall - “I don’t think [Silver] had to make it so public,” Wizards All-Star guard John Wall told The Vertical. “Because now, basically, you are telling grown men that they can’t do something. Grown men have their own opinion on whatever they want to do.”

With the line between sports and politics blurring, the NBA commissioner could face a major test with the potential of player protests during the anthem looming.

        kapp does not

its obvious nobody can explain how I'm wrong there so....

        what is it?

        its obviously not talent.

players know they've been saying hes better than such and such QB since this has gotten out of hand.
He clearly has been a disruptive player to his team in the past.. So there is another legit reason not to want to hire him.. His past actions prove that..

If you are an owner you surely should have the right by law not to hire a disruptive player just based on that also.. The lawsuit is a joke..

These activist need some leadership, could it possibly come from the NFL owners this week?

The more they make it about the flag and anthem, the less awareness they create for the original issues. Instead, they are going to let the "flag debate" rage on and on.

Coaches and owners must be shitting a brick as the players are trying to have minds of their own. That's not good for a team sport.

Exactly. Instead of making about issues in the hood, they make it about themselves.

The activist blew it many moons ago with this shit.

Magic Johnson tried with his movie theaters and what not.. Bottom line no one wants to invest in the hoods, if they do it's fast food joints like KFC and Churches, corner liquor stores, 99c stores or check cashing stores, low income housing builds maybe if you're lucky here and there..

You aren't gonna see rich black people erecting large new businesses and buildings, expensive health food stores, and fancy restaurants start ups in the ghetto, if they do they won't be rich for long... They'd be hiring ghetto blacks and that's always an adventure, or the businesses get robbed and or looted constantly and you make no money.. Blow most profits on security.. Also the ghetto people don't have money to spend in new businesses like I mentioned above..

Black Athletes would rather invest in places like Beverly Hills like their financial planners are telling them... Location location location is a saying for a reason.. Easy management and growth, high pricing is justified around wealthy communities where people spend money which in turn brings about big profits.

Ghettos will always be ghettos.. No saving that... Crime, drugs and gangs rule those hoods.. Police have a tough job..

Another thing to note... hard to believe... but this guy will be 30 years old next month.

How long did he expect to play? Not even close to Peyton Manning or Tom Brady material... regarding age...

                              Aren't most QB's washed up around 30?

Guy was known for duel threat... running and throwing... but isn't as fast as before.

Looks like a washed up turd fellas.

Time for him to move on. The NFL will never welcome him back in any capacity. He's been more trouble than he is worth for quite some time. You can be a pain in the ass as long as your production is sky high. But that leash is getting shorter every year. Teams are tired of putting up with yahoos like Kaepernick, Manzel, Dez, RR, etc...

He's made his $40,000,000, move on.

It's nearly impossible to get 31 (Packers don't have an owner, they are publicly owned) owners into a room and each and every one of them confess to collusion.

Having said that, while Kaep is top 64 QB (32 teams x 2 QB's each) I believe he isn't good enough right now to start for any NFL team, but he's probably good enough to be a backup, the thing is no NFL team wants their backup QB to be a distraction, and that's probably the real reason Kaep isn't on an NFL roster, support CK or not, you would have to say Kaep is not only a distraction but a major distraction.

Seriously, which head coach would want to answer a slew of CK questions during their Friday presser, you would think the head coach would rather talk X's and O's then this ongoing soap opera that is Colin Kaepernick.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy grew visibly angry today when a reporter asked if Green Bay would consider signing free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

You can be a pain in the ass as long as your production is sky high. But that leash is getting shorter every year. Teams are tired of putting up with yahoos like Kaepernick, Manzel, Dez, RR, etc...

He's made his $40,000,000, move on.
If he moves on do u think these far right assholes will move on too? hopefully another red meat issue pops up so these no life assholes can move on. Maybe something about transgenders? Abortion?

Kap can point to dozens of second, third, and fourth string quarterbacks on the NFL rosters, and to practice squad QBs, who he is better than. That is a clear case that the owners are systematically excluding him, and hiring less-qualified people instead.
None of this is relevant at all, i.e., his talent, whether he opted out, whether he had offers that he rejected, whether he is a distraction etc.

Collusion means two or more parties had an agreement to defraud a third party.

Meaning he only has to prove that two or more teams (not 32) conspired to deny him a spot in the league. If teams decide on their own that he's a distraction, so what, if he's better than some backups, so what, etc.

The conspiracy is the key here. That is what must be proven.

That being said, proving collusion is very difficult. These owners aren't stupid. This case is nothing more than a fishing expedition and publicity stunt trying to squeeze cash to avoid negative pub for the owners/league.
