Its about respect and decency. Do you go to your job and protest something every day? Fans don't want to see it. They are inundated with politics almost everywhere. Turn on the tv before bed and even the Hate night Comedians can't stop. Turn on an awards show and at least we can escape politics. Nope can't go there either. Guys there are a lot of sheep out there....im a conservative but I've also seen the way Trump followers admire this guy, the league is going to be half of what it is today by 2020 unless NFL owners start cutting protesters and blackballing them from league.

Look at college football attendance and tell me people wouldn't rather pay $15 to watch the best of the rest so to speak.

The league cannot afford to get involved in a "us versus them" contest when all it's negative press surrounds troubled black athletes. It's a no win situation and the minute they lose TV the business is finished.

Trump has a right to free speech.
The owners have a right to free speech.
The fans have a right to free speech.
It might financially hurt the league, it might not. The TV networks will decide that. The only thing I can say is it certainly won't help the league financially in any way.
