Is there any Sportsbook in Atlantic City NJ? Going there this weekend
Currently on short vacation with my wife + baby and we're now in Baltimore, MD. Driving north in a few hours hopefully.
We're going today (Friday) to have the Shabbat (our Jewish day) in Atlantic City and might stay there for Sunday as well (I think the Six Flags might be good for the baby, but he's only 21 months old so maybe worth going to other places? Sesame Place)
I know the Football (American Football, not Soccer) season has started quite recently, I was wondering if there is any Sportsbook in Atlantic City to place a bet with my wife on some game there? Or is it really terrible place and you can only bet on sports, legally, in Vegas and Vegas only? I really could care less about the Casinos in Atlantic City, I'm not into these types of games.
We've been to Washington DC yesterday, traveled a bit around Inner Harbor before, visited my family - all in all I have to say the US has lots of things to improve e.g. Parking - We're in 2017 for goodness sake, and yet to park in many streets you need to use meters that only take coins (some take cards luckily), the signs are not always clear.... in Israel you just use an App (called Pango or others as well), it detects where you are using your mobile GPS, you hit the "park" button and that's it ... it also has auto feature to stop your parking automatically when you leave (using your GPS).
When we we've been to NYC a week ago we couldn't board on the bass because you have to pay with quarters only .. I offered the driver cash and he said he cannot take it - my wife's pregnant so on the next bus we asked the driver to let us through, he did ... at least some of them got some sympathy.
Oh well ... I asked about Atlantic City in this title of the thread, looks like I got to talk about other things lol...
Not sure if the US and the American Dream exist anymore ... so many other countries seem to be so well advanced now... they can't even have 1 legal Sportsbook in Atlantic City because of regulation / scrutiny and what's not - the Americans don't know how to bite the bullet and swallow the pill that they themselves have invented?!
