Somewhat. The Lucky Dragon casino opened up just west of strip off Sahara and some new restaurants and weed dispensaries opened up behind Strat. The city is doing a lot of work on streets behind Strat to stimulate commercial development.

I find myself hanging out in Green Valley more and more with each trip out west.
Won about 8k playing blackjack at GVR.
Very nice casino, everything you need in a resort.
They spread a six deck shoe blackjack game, dealer stands on all 17's, you can double down after splitting, double down after any two cards, I can do without them not allowing re-split of aces though. GVR gives you a good deal though.

My favorite place for blackjack and poker believe it or not is Orleans.
Yeah, it's getting old and Orleans is on the dirty side, it's not high end like Aria, but you can't beat the players edge there for BJ.
I played in a poker tournament there, farted around at the 21 table, they gave me a 2 deck game, all 17's dealer hand to stand, BJ's paid 3:2, house edge almost as good as Aria's 2 deck game, but I won't play BJ at Aria, minimum is too pricey.
