Thanks for the props, was hoping to clean the slate with a decision win.. Had to hit the straight just before fight time.. I did like Ward to win in the rematch though again.. I remember the first fight where the Russian faded late, sure enough it happened in this fight again..

Russian is a KO artist and if he can't get the KO he'll start to fade late by a pressure skilled fighter..

I use to go to all the Tyson fights and it was a huge spectacle. You would see so much crazy shit that just being there was an event, even if it only lasted 75 seconds. I don't think you can see so many celebrities in one place. There's more there than at the Oscars. The woman, the entourages, the money being spent at all the casinos, the parties, etc. I'll always remember seeing a girl in a plastic totally see through dress at Tyson/Holyfield 1.

The sport is not broken. There's just not many interesting characters in the sport. You better believe if Tyson or Ali were fighting today there would be record numbers. We the public are dying for a hero. Unfortunately those type of guys are playing another sport, mainly football. Mayweather is boring to watch but he puts up ridiculous ppv numbers because people want to see him lose.

This fight did 160,000 buys which isn't bad considering nether guy has ever headlined.

That fight was cheaper than a movie and I watched it on my 170" theater screen, plush seats, with ribeye steaks and all the drinks at my open bar. Good fight. Ward had him out on his feet with that right hand. Both guys were fighting dirty and in the end, Kovalev, like most Russian fighters, his lack of heart showed up. Kovalev was done in the 5th round. No stamina. Ward picked his shots and that was it. Kovalev and his camp can cry all they want but they got beat both times by a better boxer. This loss will eat at Sergey for a long time.

Ended up getting in 2k at-125 for +$1600
