Suggestion if using Binance: If you don't want to get killed in withdrawal fees and are simply cashing out and are going to sell on GDAX (Coinbase), convert it to Litecoin and send it to GDAX to sell. Fee is only .001 LTC which is around 10 cents.

ETA: Thought you could convert any of the currencies to LTC, looks like you'd have to convert to BTC first, so if you're selling enough where the exchange fee is more than what the withdrawal feel for BTC would be its not worth it.

Can someone explain this to me for 50 points

I have about 600 ADA at binance that i bought. I hope to hold it long term. Am i ok just letting it sit there? Also, if a day comes where i want to redeem it for cash. What is the process and are there fees? I deposited through credit card at coinbase and sent it to binance initially

If you have 2FA, it's less likely your account will get hacked, but then the question is, "Do you trust Binance?" to not go under and screw you. When you're ready to sell it for cash, convert it to Bitcoin or ETH and then withdraw it to Coinbase/GDAX and convert to USD then withdraw to bank account. Aside from conversion fees, Binance is going to charge you a withdrawal feel (currently around $7 for Bitcoin at the current price and $2 for ETH). If you sell as a limit order on GDAX, it's free and you can withdraw to your bank account for free.

When you want to buy Crypto and hold it long term. You need a wallet on your PC and put it in a cold storage aka flash disk or a PC without internet.

Yea, you transfer amount to your wallet on your PC, not transfer to the website. Your wallet is your bank account, you own your account on your PC.

I use the Electrum wallet for my Bitcoin and Litecoin on my PC. I haven't tried that ADA wallet. Though it should be similar to Electrum. It's how you keep your funds off a website and on your PC.

Bitcoin is in big trouble now that nicehash scammed. Every bitcoin transaction is behind a ton.i doubt my transaction gets confirmed for days or ever.
