Nadal to win

Penguins to win

Pens/Preds game under 5.5


$3000 to win $11,407.65


This isn't any sort of all-in bet or anything, BUT my wife was due with our second little girl this past Thursday, and while we haven't rushed to the hospital yet, it is inevitable. When my first daughter was born two years ago, I took 8 months away and I am planning to do so again this time.

My return to the ring will likely coincide with the start of the NHL season. I am sure I will check in on here from time to time.

Thanks Funnyb! The work has yet to be done, as still no labour as of this morning.

I need thia baby to come soon. Mrs. Donuts is getting more and more demanding, sexually and I am wearing out. She keeps citing all sorts of studies that claim that intercourse helps induce labour. I can't help but feel that our child may be born with some major dents from all of the action.

How does this pay 11k +?

It's this new thing called math.

Tgink about it this way....+120 takes you from $3k to $6600 immmediately, -470 takes you from $6600 to somewhere around $8k and the -125 takes you to $14k. Back out the original $3k bet and you have $11k.

Now sure how/why there is any question on the math.

Nadal easy win. Betting the -2.5 +125 (which I gave serious consideration to) would have taken this payout to
$23k. Still, just very happy that it was a walk in the park, which is why I threw it on there.

Kind of noce to have a Sunday where I don't have any sweats until the evening. Good luck today and tonight boys.

I think people may have missed the point of this.

1. I am taking a break
2. It's won money
3. If it loses, I am totally ok with it
4. If it wins, that $14k becomes just over $20k Canadian....which is a nice little chunk of 'fun money' and would be used for exactly that....fun
5. I never bet parlays. That makes it extra fun.

Nadal was thrown in as a no-brainer. I almost considered throwing in Warriors G5 as well, just as a booster.

I see tonight's NHL Final as a very close, very defensive game. I believe that both goalies will be absolutely on point and I can easily see this going to OT. Pittsburgh won't take this lightly as they know that anything can happen in a g7 and Nashville got blown out last game and knows that they need to play lock-down type hockey to have a chance.

Either way, it's all good. It's been a lot of fun being back at SBR and I will be back again once our newest addition is settled in.

I'm also expecting a pens low scoring win tonight like 3-1.

Hate betting unders in elimination games though because the preds will pull the goalie and leave him out and 3-1 could turn into 5-1 real quick.
