It's the collective bargaining agreement that puts a cap on individual salaries that has caused this mess. Durant should be on his own team getting paid 60 mils a year. Instead, there's a max limit, so why wouldn't Durant pick a great team to play on than a bad team if they are going to pay the same rate.
