Right - isn't it better to just set up front money accounts and bypass all the BS?

i go to the caribbean often, wire money down to an account with the casino when i get in i just take markers against my money. easy. dont have to worry about carrying the cash through customs and cant rack up any debt because your playing with your own money. dont have to carry it around its in the cage.
you can do that in any casino i just usually go to the islands

So at the end of your vacation, and you are up, do you just wire the money back to your bank?
What if it's over $10,000? Will it trigger tax to be be paid? Thanks

im not sure never came back from the islands with more than 10 k
but whatever you do have left you can wire it back to your bank.
to be honest ive won 15k+ in atlantic city and never had to pay taxes
i do it just to avoid the hassles with customs

You get paid in big chips - the money does not just get credited immediately back to your account when you cash tickets. I would rather walk around with the tickets until I am ready to go home. But, you could go to a safe deposit box with cash or chips each day - or pay for the next days bets with yesterdays tickets.
Let's say you win 1ok - I like the idea of going home with 10k cash and bring the front money account back up to 10 k like, when you walked in. And leave it or wire it home.
As far as taxes - shouldn't have to claim the income as your front money is still there. On the down side with this method they might want you to use a players card with every bet so they can track you. I would like a little more anonymity than that - but you cannot bet big unless they know who you are.

Hate gambling in islands. High table limits, customs is painful, I question if their table games aren't rigged, casino filled with smoke,
