BUT it is very concerning for the home owner. A couple of years ago, one of our neighbors (who are mixed) had someone write, in what looked like white shoe polish, something on their tree out front. They thought it said the "N" word, I couldn't tell. It looked like a painter could have been cleaning his brush on the tree to me as I couldn't really read out anything. I checked my video cameras and we couldn't see anything/anyone strange entering our cul de sac. I thought it was simple enough to just let it go but they called the police and filled out a report. To me it was nothing but they were visibly shaken.
