Cavs now like 10/1. Lol.
Warriors will only need 5 games to beat the Cavs

#327Dude you are all over the place. You're just trying to convince yourself.
You mean the same LeBron James who, 8-9 years into his career, was considered a choker by most people who followed the game? Perhaps unfairly, but in that case you could make the same for Curry and Durant. It's not like they have a James Harden-esque resume of repeatedly coming up small in big moments. They have made tons of big shots over their respective careers.
Curry is an NBA champion who averaged 26 5 and 6 in the finals despite getting hammered by everyone (including myself) after his game 2 and 3 performances. All this big deal is made about how he blew a 3-1 lead but what about the 3-1 lead he came back from? Averaged like 33 8 and 7 over those last 3 against OKC. Everyone has his opinion over whether he was healthy or not for last year's finals, but ultimately even if you want to shoot it down as a poor excuse it's not like it makes him a choker to have choked once. His game 7 was atrocious but not nearly as bad as a couple of those games LeBron had against the Mavs.
Durant in the 2012 Finals? 30pts on 55% shooting and 40% from 3. Miami was a better team and LeBron outplayed him overall but let's not act like the guy was some kind of spectator to the series. Has beaten the Spurs twice in the playoffs, both times without homecourt, both times as the underdog in the series. But yeah, sure, he shrinks on the big stage because he had one awful game against the Warriors last year in game 6. Let's let that define his career.
Categorising Irving as some kind of clutch king is silly too. The fact that you have to bring up a random regular season shot sums up how short his resume is to this point in the playoffs. Now obviously it's not his fault the competition in the East is so bad he's rarely in a position to make big shots, but say he averages 19 points on 41% shooting in these finals, does that all of a sudden make him a choker? Just silly.
This series is about who's the better basketball team, not who's the clutcher team. Neither team has a James Harden who has literally shrunk in every big moment in his career.
They're both great basketball players (KD is better), they both have the killer instinct and have proven it over their careers, and you dummies isolate a couple moments from last season and try to make it define the player's career. Laughable.Comment -

#328So where are all the "KD isn't clutch" "Irving is clutch" idiots?

Durant is on an all star team. He's getting the best looks he's ever gotten in his career. It would've been nice to see him close the deal against GSW last year but he came up short. That's in the past now.Comment -

#329Bro I don't even read most of the posts on here. Most of it is garbage. I'll read your posts and a few other guys but this place is loaded with awful opinions.

Exactly. He came up short, came up small, choked, whatever but it doesn't make him a choking type of player. LeBron did worse in 2011, I'd say he has a fairly decent resume in big games since then.
Some guys even saying shit like they'd take Horry over Durant on their team cause he's clutcherComment -

#331Good call, I took pretty big hit in gm 3, never would have thought cavs lose this one. They choked down the stretch while warriors made plays. Not sure wtf kyrie was doing with that dribble around then chuck a 3 bullshit in a 1 point game when he been getting to rim at will all night.Comment -
