Not smart to bet on a team that just won the World Series. They are not as motivated as the other teams, as proven by the fact that the Yankees swept them at Wrigley without much effort. Even last night, the Yanks used a former bullpen pitcher (Severino) to completely lock down the Cubs. The Cubbies are fat and happy. Witness Boston Red Sox in the last days of Francona as an example of a successful team that loses its hunger and edge.

No way. They should've won. Rizzo led off an inning with a double. World champs should've brought him home. He was at third with one out. Madden should've found a way to bring him home. The umpire was calling every shitty pitch anywhere close to the plate a strike.

Have you seen Severino pitch this year? Does it matter he was former bullpen? Jesus what a dumbass post.

Rudy still hit some big ones.. RSPK!!
Can't double down over and over again and continue to let it ride. Hard to win over time doing that in gambling.. Gotta be a grinder with discipline... Take shots only once in a while when you see a real gem.....

Not questioning that, but it's in poor taste to post that here. But you are truly a scumbag, so I wouldn't expect anything less.

Yeah, he's only been one of the best pitchers in baseball so far. But since he used to be in the bullpen, apparently, that shouldn't count.
