I use Fidelity the most but Sottrade and Ameritrade are my other ones. I use to have an eTrade and TradeKing has the lowest fees but I keep going back to Fidelity. I think you can open an account at TradeKing with zero requirements. No monthly fees either but you have to place like 1 trade a year I think.

Looks like they've had those same type of contracts the last few years too. I'm not sure how you correlate that to turning a profit?

Just check out a good news feed on MICT. See the contracts, read the quarterly conference call transcript on seekingalpha, and go read the 10k on sec edgar. They are likely to do a spinoff, and big profits. Israeli defense contractor and busing, trucking, electronic logs requirement, only 6 mil shares, no real debt.
it is going to 3-5, possibly 10+ counting spinoff, the share count so llow.anything under 1.50 a steal.

Snowball - Check out MSCC and SWKS. Both are serious players in Aerospace and Defense market servicing companies in that sector. MSCC develops industrial strength semiconductors and SWKS is also a player in the Internet of things. Tread lightly with penny stocks...

I consider mutual funds investing in stocks but I get what you're saying. I agree that low index funds and Mutual Funds are what's recommended. BUT, I think if you have a little knowledge and can gauge the market that individual stocks are good as well. I mentioned many stocks in these forums the last few years and most have done very well. MU and NVDA have both gone up +150% in the last year. AMD has gone up over 375% in the last year. You're not going to get those type of returns with a mutual fund.

I know several people who built up a nest egg through stock investing. Starting slow and building a nice pile.
