Still a little bitter about that loss but I honestly believe NC and Kentucky play 10 times, Kentucky wins 8 of them. Probably played their worst game in 2 months last night, the foul calls in the 1st half making Fox only play 28 minutes, the missed Offensive Goaltending called on Kentucky, the missed offensive goaltending call on the dunk that was missed and the guy hung on the rim and the ball went in, and you still only lose by 2? I think Oregon wins Saturday

Wow philly, any other excuses you want to add? They played twice on neutral courts and each won on last second shots. Making up any excuse you want but to say that Kentucky would win 8 out of 10 when both games were as close as they could get? come on now. The first game Kentucky played the best it could offensively and still needed a fade away 3 in the final seconds. But whatever you say

Kentucky was up 64-59 all momentum, Roy called a timeout for once and went to zone + got them composed and they made enough plays to regain and build a lead and Kentucky faltered... just got some lucky 3's and 1 dumb non-inbounds by Meeks and they still lost at the end. blame Kentucky for not calling a timeout to get a set defense

again, Kentucky was up 64-59... then went to crap for too long against a zone D

great point indeed....but if you remember the 2 offensive sequences that NC had, Kentucky played amazing D, NC threw up 2 prayers, I believe one driving to the basket but both as the shot clock was to expire, and both went in....I can only argue the obvious miss calls, for which there were several in the 1st half that did have an impact on this game

The 1H was an abomination from an officiating stand point. Those refs need to be fired or at least suspended and investigated.

The 2H seemed pretty fairly called, was a great half & crazy finish.

There was a handful of bad calls in the game but it happens in many games nightly throughout the year. Is there a game played that human error doesn't come into play? Someone can always bitch about a call. Fact still remains that none of those calls were down the stretch and Kentucky built a 5 point lead going into the final minutes. The refs didn't make them fall apart when UNC went zone and had a 12-0 run. Neither team in both of the games were able to pull away is what I am saying. Hell Monk had 47 and hit 8 threes in the first matchup. Kentucky scored 103 and still had to hit a buzzer beater to beat UNC so to say that Kentucky would take 8 out 10 from UNC when the two times they did play, on neutral courts, came down to the final seconds is just ridiculous.

As far as your offer, I would do it but after this upcoming weekend I won't be around SBR much until football season starts, as I don't bet baseball and it is time for golf. I still have outstanding points debts for people helping with all the contests this winter. The only points I will be making is a daily log in so I am not going to bet 1000 points because it would take me forever to pay you back if you won.

I agree with your statement Dom.....I've taken the side of the officials on this site several times during this tourney but that 1st half was just inexcusable.....and these are the top 15 officials you have left?

There was still 5 minutes left when UK had the lead, thats nothing to make up in that time. Those two lucky shots they made right after sure did help though.

two evenly matched teams, in what was a badly officiated game... sucks for the losing team, but hey, the best team almost always wins. the tar heels dominated the first half , bad call aside, and just managed to dodge a bullet in the 2nd.

Kentucky best prepare for next year. tough luck
