Actually Duke had the number 1 class coming in this year and by far more talent. One team is still playing, guess who. Cal has more Final Fours than any other coach in the last 8 years, 1 title but coaching mostly freshmen. Ask Coach K and Tom Izzo how easy it is. Izzo has a quote from a couple weeks ago saying he now has more respect for Cal and what he does with his young teams. Look at what Kansas has done the last few years with veteran players. Give me Cal any day of the week. The best recruiter, not the best coach by any means but he IS a good coach and can get freshmen playing together better than anyone in the country and this year proves that 100%

When is the last time coach Cal had just 1 lottery pick on his team? Come on now. I mentioned Mich St because they had freshmen starting this season and Izzo said he had more respect for Cal now after having seen how hard it is to win with a young team. The other two had the #1 picks and LSU had another top 20 pick on their team and neither came close to making the tournament.

You ignored Duke. Is Coach K a bad coach now? Hell he added the #1 class full of one and dones to an already stacked team and had what, 9 losses I believe? Out on the round of 32.

Kentucky has started 3 freshmen(4 sometimes) this year and has them in a position to make another final four, but he sucks right?

The fact is you can take the top 10 kids in high school and put them on the same team, it doesn't mean they're a failure if they don't win the title. Chemistry can become a problem, being overrated happens. Cal makes it work and has a team loaded with freshmen ready to contend for a title almost every year. If that makes him a bad coach, I don't ever want a good one

Kentucky's the better team on any night. UCLA is so flawed, I can't believe anybody would bet on them beyond their first two games let alone pick them to come out of this region. It was always going to be North Carolina vs. Kentucky the two best teams in the region, head and shoulders.
