Every other week Id have to cover a region of avout 12 states

Weeks Im "local", I still have a 250 mile zone to cover daily

Lot of travel, lot of money, company stock, not sure I want to miss that much time with the fam

My aunt used to be a nurse practioner sp. Now she is in charge of nursing at a big hospital in NEW MEXICO. She make over 200,000 a year. She is also a liberal

Wouldn't do it. She can find out she doesn't need u. Also you can make over 100,000 staying home. If kids or wife got sick then you wouldn't be able to forgive yourself.

Do it. Why not? You can balance. Especially since your kid is still so small. The key is to be home when they get to that age where you need to be around to watch and teach.

Depends how much you currently make. I would say no because they can't move with you. Family is moe important than money period.

I just read the above comments. My 3 year old is everything to me. If money is more important yo you than the growth and love of your child, go for it. My kid is autistic and I'd spit on that 250k.

Geez brooks, that's a but harsh no? Every other week sounds like parents that are divorced but it's a tough question. Things like extended family in the area would be tipping points imo

In my field, there have always been jobs like that... that require travel and pay $175k-$250k. I never went that route because of my kids, and I knew I would eventually make that and more staying in my current role.

If I didn't have the chance to get there without travel, I would have considered it.

Personal choice, my friend. What does your wife think?
