All of this is because there are violent passages in the Quran and Hadith that extremists take literally. The Old Testament says an eye for an eye but that doesn't fly anymore. Religious books aren't timeless pieces. If they were written by "God" or an extension of him, they would be timeless. Plain and simple. God can foresee the future.
Islam was spread by the sword -- and that's fine, it was a long time ago and one of the only ways to get the religion started. But now people quote the "lesser jihad" in the Hadith and ppl are still being forced to convert, or have to leave the land or pay a jizya.
Isis uses the Quran to justify their actions.
Muslim people are so scared to denounce even 1 small passage in the Quran or Hadith.
Why?
It's a fear of free thinking, not a fear of God. The simple nature of asking any existential questions is foreign to them.
We need more Muslim people to question things and challenge assumptions instead of just taking everything their parents tell them about religion when they are young as fact.
It's fine to be a religious person. Just have to be able to look at things from other perspectives as well. Important skill in life. Rationalizing with other ideologies, not just your own.
I know Paco's kids will be able to, because he's a smart guy. But many people just brainwash their kids. And by the time they're older, that fear sets in... that fear of free thinking. It's foreign. when the entire forum was united around the escape from prison of richard matt and that other guy, whose name escapes me, and whether richard matt was laying the wood to prison gaurds with his over-sized schlong..... The only dispute among posters was whether they were already in mexico, or headed toward canada on foot.....

America has always been in some kinda shiiit.. Best American times were probably During WW2 when we all were truly United and fighting for a worthy cause..
Then the 60's and 70's came and Vietnam war and black panther movement, Country was more divided then it is now. Nixon impeached.. Etc...
80's came then we had the Nuclear arms scare and race.. 90's were chill will with Clinton and Bush Sr pretty much.. 2000's 9/11 happened and everything went to shiiiit after that...

When the Constitution was written, the intent was so that government could not force religion on people. With that being said, the United States WAS founded with the values of God and Christianity whether you like it or not.
The most important part of federal government is to keep America safe and protect its citizens. Government is not forcing religion on its people, the federal government (since Jan 20) is keeping its citizens safe from a religion (an ideology) that can be interpreted by some of that faith to preach the annihilation of non-believers.
NOBODY HAS THE FREEDOM TO KILL SOMEONE OF ANOTHER RELIGION BASED SOLELY ON RELIGION. DON'T TWIST THINGS AROUND TO FIT A NARRATIVE.Comment -

You should be begging me to stay. When the country is headed toward being a welfare state, who else is going to pay for all these 3rd world refugees to receive social assistance, free healthcare, free/subsidized housing, and free educations? All this at a time when the median income is at an all-time low, full-time jobs with benefits are at an all-time low, the needs of our veterans are being ignored and retired elderly people are going bankrupt in record numbers, and the quality of our healthcare and education systems are rapidly going down the toilet.
