You can't tap a quarterback on the helmet without being fined and they want to eliminate kickoffs but they don't mind you traveling 15,000 miles to play 3 games in 13 days

Great thread! I agree about the bye weeks (adding one more) and getting rid of Thursday games except for Thanksgiving. While I love watching the NFL, Thursday night games are worth sitting down in front of the tv for anymore.

Absolutely should get rid of TNF. It's unfair to those teams. I honestly wouldn't mind getting rid of kickoffs. Either way is fine with me. Mainly sick of these dumbasses taking the ball out and not even making it to the 25.

Have you noticed more kickers not kicking it out of the end zone as much as when the kickoff line was moved? It used to be almost every kickoff went out. Now they're kicking it to the 5 yard line and covering the receiver because their players are that much closer and the return guy doesn't make it to the 25.

Yep. Just kick it higher, and shorter then they end up inside the 20 half the time. Not what the NFL was hoping for, but a good strategy with the right kicker.

it's mainly because of the new CBA agreement between the owners and players....main reason being teams aren't allowed to practice and hit in full pads anymore during the week (regular season) and during training camps and OTA's....so in essence, the players although bigger, faster, and stronger than years before have also become equally softer...and they have also eliminated two-a-day practices...old school style that made players better and tougher is now out the window....hence, why you have all of these injuries nowadays.

Preseason is foolish.. get rid of tnf and add 2 bye weeks.

If u get rid of kick off that means a losing team will never win.. if you dont want a team to return, kick it out of end zone, period. Or get rid of the kick out side penlty when the ball is passed 20 yard lines..teams are trying to avoid a return but if they kick out of bound they get hit with penlty thats bs, i see in situations where a dude can just pick up the ball or catch it but they let it out to get the free yards.. PI should be reviewable too and the touching a qb helmet penalty is rediculous.. i saw some qbs exploit that shit when they see a defender coming. As long as they arent targeted on the helmet should be ok..
