Locker I disagree. Squares will take kershaw. Cubs bats are awake now. Kershaw will fold like a cheap tent.

More bets are going on Cubs.
Cubs bats haven't awoken on Kershaw or Hill, though.
I'm just playing devils advocate.
90% of SBR loves Cubs, consensus $$ is on Cubs etc.

I hear you I just think if you like the dodgers take them +305 series and take your chances against arrieta with hill. Cubs have the momentum and I have never believed in that old baseball line that momentum is tomorrow's pitcher. Cubs bats are up to speed the place to be rocking. Kershaw is going to be under a lot of pressure and Hendricks is really good at home.

Theo is an arrogant douche (though very talented) so I would love to see him fail.
Otherwise, give the Cubbies the ring. It has been far too long.

This will be the coldest game the Dodgers have played in all season -- first time under 55 degrees.
And then you've got in Kershaw a guy who had back issues (cold doesn't help), his 4th appearance in 10 days and though he did well, he had no feel for the curveball last outing. Cubs will be sitting fastball all game.
Cubs are going to win this game.

Cubs slugger Kyle Schwarber only managed five plate appearances in the regular season before tearing his ACL on an outfield collision on April 7. He's been rehabbing throughout the season and now, per the Chicago Tribune and multiple reports, Schwarber will start Saturday night for the Mesa Solar Sox of the Arizona Fall League.
If the Cubs advance to the World Series, which is obviously still a big "if," Schwarber would be eligible to be on the roster. My inclination is that if this happened, he'd be a bench bat for the first several games, but remember, Games 6 and 7, if necessary, would have a designated hitter. What if Schwarber has shown he's shaken off the rust by then?
Kyle Schwarber has barely played this season, but could he return at the perfect time?

Games 1 and 2 would have DH. If he's on the roster, why would he not DH one or both of those?

Heyward is sitting tonight. Albert Almora will play RF and bat 8th in his place. Love it. Finally. Almora will make contact and make things happen. And you lose absolutely nothing defensively -- he is a great OF and a future gold glover.

All over this.
Today 10/22, 46th anniversary of Billy Sianis death, (the man who cursed Chicago),
Rigged sports will be at it's finest tonight. Very confident they clinch today on his anniversary. No coincidence in date.
World Series will get to Game 7, this one closes in 6

I don't know how anyone can have confidence in the Dodgers, even with the mighty Kershaw on mound. The way the Dodgers are playing, he could pitch a shutout and they would still lose.

Becareful betting against Kershaw and Janson today fellas.. Dodgers are very capable of winning this game with those 2 on the mound... Cubs are rolling now but great pitching always beats good hitting..
I like the Under in this game..

Kyle Hendricks has a 1.32 home ERA. Kershaw is overworked. Yes, he powered through last start, but his curveball isn't there. And it won't get easier in 50 degree weather. Cubs will learn from last outing.
We'll see. Should be a good one. Great matchup. Hard to beat playoff baseball drama like this.

If you take kershaw tonight I understand but the cubs pitcher isn't letting the dodgers do anything either. Honestly there is no pitching advantage in this game.

Blanton has been horrible in this series.. You'd have to be crazy to put him in again at anytime in this series from this point on..
