I know I'm going to get hammered for this post but I need help even though I already know the answer. The weekend of 9/10 I lost almost half my bankroll, high 5 figures. I called a tout I used last season for a few games and he went 5-2 but the cost was too high. So this past Friday I send him $10k for a huge play Saturday. Which was Central Michigan -5 over Virginia. Needless to say it lost. Sunday he gave me Green Bay -6.5 but I took the over 47.5 instead. Then I hit the Bears over 45 Sunday night and Falcons over 54 last night on my own. Now he calls and says if I send him $30k he has 2 college games and 1 nfl game this weekend. He says if I don't make $150k he will make up the difference himself. His 'source' is a smaller sportsbook director in Vegas. So let me have it....

Instead of betting "high 5 figures" or even 5 figures at all, drop your unit size wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy down. And if you can't, seek some help so you can quit gambling altogether.
I honestly wish I could dropkick your tout and every other one - and especially the wannabes who win two weeks of picks here and decide to be the next best tout before scamming money and disappearing when they go 0-30.

I don't think there is anything wrong with getting piciks from a tout although they will probably not help much. But they only cost about $1,000 for a season.

A tout that charges by the pick with no long term strategy will almost get you broke. After you pay that hefty some for the pick you already lose value on the game because of the cost of the pick. Beside most of these single game touts sell one pick to one person and the opposite or another pick to other person so they guaranteed to get one of the sucker to pay again. Don't waste money paying for touts. If you must stick to reputable ones that has a viable money management and a long term plan. There aren't many out there. Best i know are RAS and Bettingresource (their wise-guy 10 unit picks). But RAS hasn't been bettable over the past few years since he is hammering mostly division two games and 2nd half bets where the lines are way too volatile and the limits are petty.
A tout that make promises like "make of the difference himself" is 100% scam tout. He sounds just like the Steve Stevens scammer from Vegas.Comment -

I'll give you a little story. The was a group called A/T/S/ that sold us their preseason lock. Tenn titans over atl I think. Well first 3 quarters we were golden. Then some scrub named billy volek comes in and throws 4 fourth quarter tds. This dumbass has the nerve to call and try to get us for some money. I had lost more than I really liked. So i cuss him out. He calls my buddy and tells him that only he can call and get the picks. The next year the asshole calls me again and i let him have it.
Story number 2 I am a big texas fan and it was the first time texas is playing in the 12 title game against nebraska. We call the wise guys and the give out nebraska. So i drop a 500 hundred on them. Texas beats the shit out of them. The next week they are on the radio telling how they gave out texas. You can make as much money finding someone on a hot streak.
Story number 3, there is a guy going by a playing card name. He gives out picks. He was horrible at least 20 games under 500%. so he is on the site crying about how his gf died and that is messing up his mojo. He is talking about suicide. The next year this site backs him up as a tout and he is supposed to be he best thing since sliced bread. I ask the mods what gives and when he brags ;I remind him how bad he is.
