Right now I am passing on this game but I think the under is best play in this matchup.

USC has shown nothing all season and Utah is solid at home. With Utes only laying 2.5 or 3 the oddsmakers believe that players think USC is the better team.

Jake no. jj obviously got some kind of wise info in Vegas cause he's on the right side. Trojans not built for a short week on the road with this garbage coach and offense. Stanford drained the D's gas tank and unless they get some fluky plays to grab momentum early Utah will do the same so I don't see Trojans covering. Fwiw I am a USC homer but also realistic. 3-0 Trojan ATS so far this season.

San Jose may have and BYU does have a better offense than the garbage USC squad right now. Utahs obviously not Alabama or Stanford level O but good enough to gash the Trojans and dominate the clock. If the Trojans only possess the ball for 20 minutes again this is over already.

friendly observation: ne patriots started a new qb last night

in both pros and colleges it appears that the new/untested/3rd string qb surprises people about 50% of the time. so tonite the usc qb could fold up like a cheap accordion, OR, have a "surprise game" like jacoby brissett. honestly, its very near to a 50/50 chance for a good or poor performance regardless the level of opponent defense! and in this case, the oddsmakers and sharps appear to agree
but, good luck!
i will not take a side here. a bit iffy for my taste.
