Besides Russia vs Sweden game tomorrow, there is a very interesting matchup between Finland and North America U23.

N. Americans are favorite to win this game - something tells me that the books got that one wrong.

Yeah I think a lot of countries are excited to have this tournament back, so SKA had very little choice, but to let these players go to represent their national teams.
And like you said, even though Finns are missing some key players, they're still pretty stacked. I personally think, that they will simply over power these under 23 youngsters.

Pavelski is sucking and blowing in this game, Kane is playing very well but has no help. Quick is also sucking and blowing, Bishop should replace him.

Pavelsky might not done much to this point, but it was Kane who was on the ice for 2 out of 3 goals

Pavs is +/-0 while Kane is -2...those constant odd man rushes for team Europe in the 1st frame was hard to watch

Huge odds vs USA...when really its a coin flip like NHL games...

Canada has home ice and refs but they can easily lose in one game elimination.

USA is not even that good on paper....they are basically out now....plus shittiest coach ever

They're pretty well all top NHL players. This is a tournament put on by the NHL. Hence, why they have Team Europe and Team North America, instead of filling the tournament with countries that don't have many NHL players (Belarus, Germany, Switzerland etc)
