The last summer Olympics I was in US...they had 1-2 channels that show predominately only US athletes all throughout the day.

Watching Olympics in Russia right now - 6 different live channels, that show all the events for every single country.

The coverage sucks. Fukkin tape delayed most of the time, then they regurgitate the same shit over and over again. I use to have Bell Canada (expressvu) and their Olympic coverage rocked. They must have had like 30 different channels showing everything live. All the channels were in order so you could go from one to the next. They also had a recap channel that kept the medal count and split cams that showed multiple action. That shit was boss.

Comcast in Houston has channels all over the fukkin map. Channel 612, 645, 649, 668, etc., etc. WTF? They don't know how to use 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.....

most have figured out that the olympics are an insipid bore and don't watch or care. it doesn't matter who wins those foolish gold medals. it can't help you in any way whatsoever. no one ever remembers who won them anyway. don't get sucked in. watch tampa bay and minnesota baseball games. far more interesting.

I don't mind that there are things on five or six different channels. But show the damn events live. There's no way I'm wasting my time watching things when I already know who wins and loses. This coverage is a disaster.

the idea of tape delay is annoying( I get it when you actually need it as an individual) plus their reasoning for why was even more comical implying that women don't care about the results. I was hoping all the feminists would latch on but no luck for that entertainment yet.

lol and their reason for tape delay of the opening was comical. Obviously it was for ratings but they basically said the American public was too stupid to understand what they might be seeing so we need commentators during prime-time to be able to explain it to us. Good thing, those crab/zika looking creatures and slavery ships really had me confused.
