Police in Austin, Texas said that an "active shooter" had on Sunday caused "multiple victims," with local media reports saying that at least one person was dead.
Police said via Twitter there were separate shootings downtown "within the same area," and that "both scenes are secure at this time."
A woman in her 30s was killed in the incident, the Austin American-Statesman newspaper reported, citing county emergency medical personnel.

I know for a fact that the gov doesn't know the details about every gun I have bought or have sold or owned or own...I follow all the rules too, nothing shady...BUT imagine if the 2 amendment came into play and a runaway gov had every piece of intelligence, as far as who legally own firearms...PASS

Well all i can say is that the police are aware of every legally registered firearm that exists in my country yet the sky hasnt fallen in and we havent had a mass shooting in over 20 years now so im not too sure about the validity of your argument there bro and would say that quite possibly a rethink is in order of how you prioritize firearm ownership..
