Reminds me of what the Yankees did in baseball..
Nba has been like this for years. Lakers did it.

People around here talking Westbrook and Kanter to the LAC for Blake Griffin and Chris Paul. Lol

Griffin played at OU and Paul was loved when he was here with the Hornets but I don't see this happening.

The Warriors were such a free flowing team last year. They won 73 and were up 3-1 in the Finals.

          Why mess with it?

Durant is more of a one on one ISO guy.

If Westbrook isn't coming back after this year
You have to trade him or you get nothing in return.

The Thunder are in a tough spot.

I think it's pretty clear now that KD threw game 6 of the WCFs. I said it than and I believe it even more now. It's not like OKC isn't stacked with talent themselves. Only logical reason is Russ made it clear to him that he wasn't staying after this year either, so he might as well bolt for the best situation now.

OKC offered him an extension, if he doesn't take it he's going to be traded. Not much else to say

I didnt see anywhere that they offered an extension, but it doesnt matter because of another huge cap jump, he will be a free agent.

Who is going to take him in a trade knowing they will have him for one season? Hes not going to sign an extension even if hes dealt.

I'm not sure what you're talking about but according to bleacher report who sources ESPN.
"Thunder will considering fielding RW trade offers if he doesn't sign an extension"

Pretty simple actually not sure what you're going on about.

NBA should considering scrapping the regular season. Just go straight to the finals for the next 3 seasons or so. Warriors v Cavs. There is no point having the regular season now.

Here is why they will have the regular season:

                                $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

What should happen is the fans should just turn off the NBA. I don't mean, like, an angry boycott.... just a situation where your team is already eliminated, so why bother? Seriously, what's the point in watching Toronto-Atlanta? Just a waste of time.

I thought Presti looked like he was going to cry.

I think this blindsided Presti. I'm not sure he has a good backup plan.

Presti gave Durant everything he needed to win a ring and Durant couldn't deliver.

Durant is a failure. Has a superstar ever squandered that much talent?

Durant is the Superstar. He was the guy that was supposed to deliver in crunch time and he couldn't. Three of the losses to Miami in the Finals years ago were all one possession games under a minute to go and Durant did nothing. That's when I jumped on the Westbrrok bandwagon.

Westbrook single handily kept them in those games.

Durant did the same thing this year in the playoffs.

Yep. He was given all the tools he needed and couldn't win it. He disappeared when it mattered most in the post-season.

He left his teammates and Franchise out to dry to save face and chase a ring the easy way.

Total bitch move. He is soft. I think most people knew his years ago.

It's similar but on a much larger scale.

The Warriors just won 73 games and eliminated Durant in a series Durant led 3-1.

Hell, a member of that team kicked your teammate in the nuts.

I hate james but he didn't have this type of team like okc gave durant. If James had the same team he would have won already by now. Maybe more than once. Durant joined the team that beat him. That's like losing a fight with your friends against the other guys in high school and the next year joining them. Wtf is wrong with him.? That shit gets you killed where I grew up.

The trade was sort of a hedge move. It somehow made them better this year if he stayed and also got a start on the rebuild if he left.

Presti is good, but a GM can only do so much.

That shit gets you killed where I grew up.

Couldn't imagine a wealthy kneegrow baller needing to go there. Let's say he stayed with OKC or went to Celtics and he never won the chip and played out his career and amassed about 1/2 a billion dollars!! The worst that could be said is you couldn't get it done? I have more respect for them even though they didn't get a ring.
