which book is more credible when it comes to MLB?...Pinnacle or Bookmaker?
the reason I ask is because both are A+ and solid...both are very reputable and sharp....however, every so often you get two different lines on MLB totals and stays that way for a long time before any kind of line movement...for example, right now the total for Astros/Royals is 8 over at pinnacle

    17.15 Houston AstrosD. Keuchel -116 -1.5
    +141
    Over 8
    -109
    Under 8
    -101
Kansas City RoyalsE. Volquez +107 +1.5
    -153
and over 8.5 (+EV) at bookmaker

    <small style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; position: relative; font-size: 12px;">8:15 PM</small>
    HOU ASTROSD KEUCHEL -L <label style="margin: 0px; padding: 0.75em; position: relative; font-size: 14px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer; border: 1px solid rgb(213, 213, 213); border-radius: 0.3em;">-1.5 +135 </label> <label style="margin: 0px; padding: 0.75em; position: relative; font-size: 14px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer; border: 1px solid rgb(213, 213, 213); border-radius: 0.3em;">8.5 EV </label> <label style="margin: 0px; padding: 0.75em; position: relative; font-size: 14px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer; border: 1px solid rgb(213, 213, 213); border-radius: 0.3em;">-119</label> 5K-5K-10K USD
    KC ROYALSE VOLQUEZ -R <label style="margin: 0px; padding: 0.75em; position: relative; font-size: 14px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer; border: 1px solid rgb(213, 213, 213); border-radius: 0.3em;">+1.5 -155 </label> <label style="margin: 0px; padding: 0.75em; position: relative; font-size: 14px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer; border: 1px solid rgb(213, 213, 213); border-radius: 0.3em;">8.5 -120 </label> <label style="margin: 0px; padding: 0.75em; position: relative; font-size: 14px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer; border: 1px solid rgb(213, 213, 213); border-radius: 0.3em;">+109</label>

so who do you think is more accurate and a better indicator of which way to wager?....

and also both Heritage and Betonline have the number at 8 as well!...what does bookmaker know that the other books don't?!...

Those lines are virtually the same. Under 8.5 -120 is approximately equal to Under 8 -102.

That aside, there is a reason why those that advocate beating the closing line use PINNY as their source. Also Pinny has better reduced juice, Bookmaker is limited reduced juice on MLB sides with low cut-off point and full -110 juice on all other sports. Only reason to keep money there is for the occasional half-run or half-point difference (with beneficial juice, unlike this case).

No serious player bets bases at bookmaker unless they don't have pinny option. Bookmaker should be called juicemaker.

Even then, plenty of better low-juice options

Well, Heritage and Bookmaker are my only two books being a US player...I love doing teasers every once in a while and Heritage is the only book that allows you tease totals up to 4.5 runs in either direction (Over or Under)...

                LT,
I still love the over 8.5 in this game!..one of my best bets of the day...Using my EDT theory (Equilibrium Disbursement Theory) I think each team is good for at least 4 runs tonight and the game goes over the number for a winner!....

I understand that Giant but bookmaker was the only one that had it on the high end with better odds...its almost like they knew the game was going to go over!.......thanks for the congrats!......did you see that someone hit 21 in a row in the streak contest?!...I posted it on the "Sportsbook and the Industry" sub forum.

Is the contest still going on? I'm not using bookmaker these days. Probably won't until September.
