There is a difference between comments on the internets and actually being controlled in real life. When you comment on twitter you are gonna be told all kinds of crap, just the way it is. It's not right but it happens. I was recently told to deal with it bitch. Lets focus on real life sexism, the crap on social media and real media is gonna be slow to catch up. You have the lowest common denominator, Railing against it is jousting windmills.

#37Equality for women on destabilizes society as it was set up for men to succeed and put women at a competitive disadvantage.
Just because a society exists doesn't mean it exists in it's most perfect form
We have a long ways to go
This has always been a white mans world and that is rapidly changing, and white men are struggling to deal with it. We weren't raised to have feelings, so now that we do, we don't know what to do with them
anyway, equal rights for both sexes is ideal but wake up man, it'll never happen. females want the cake and eat it too. women are attracted to power and they want to be taken care of but at the same time they want to be treated equally. give me a break, it's one or the other..
do you know what's worse than a feminist? a male feminist.Comment -

#39Hate Stephen A, but not sure I see why this would cause outrage. Could have been handled better, or just not said but don't see this as a big deal. Maybe I'm sexist, who knows but don't think this is what having a voice should entail. She can certainly say what she wants, but be criticised all the same.Comment -

Two things you say stick out
1.) equal rights for both sexes is ideal but it'll never happen
Not with that thinking. Do you have a daughter GK?
2.) females want their cake and to eat it too
Oh, you mean like men have had for 1000's of years??? so from your perspective as a man, its ok for men to have their cake, baked by a woman of course, and then the man gets to eat it too, but when the woman wants her own cale and to have some, then all the sudden it's a problem?
Why? Because Alex Jones says so?
As for your thoughts on male feminists, I could not care any less, you've shown your hand. I would expect you to say nothing elseComment -

you missed the point of the feminist movement. it's to destabilize families and collect twice as much in taxes. i have to say they've succeeded.
and no i don't have a daughter but i love my mother more than my father. i respect some women but i don't respect them all.
you're getting worked up for no apparent reason. does your wife go to your work and blast your coworkers every time you have a bad day at work? if so, i feel for you.
anyway, are you out of meds again?Comment -

#45Oh, I'm sure most men do see it this way, but that is only because we've grown accustomed to women being in the place we put them in. ANY attempt at advancement is seen as threatening. It's not that women, or african americans, want superiority, they just want equality and they're nowhere near equality right now.
I'm all for equal rights but when a house is on fire and a baby is left inside I wonder what sex will go into that burning building to try and save that child??
Gender roles in certain situations are assumed for a good reason...
True that is but a single example but the other thing is that have you considered that alot of females are ok with being the subservient (to a degree naturally) ones and see feminism as a threat??Last edited by ACoochy; 06-18-16, 07:34 PM.Comment -

#46I know plenty emale fire fighters cooch that are also ifbb pro bodybuilders. They have ran into many burning houses
But women are just now getting past the stigma that working out will make them "masculine" or "butch, a lie propagated by men to keep women looking the way we wanted them to look. So lets give them time here. Women are just getting past caring what men think of them, and for that, men think they "want their cale and to eat it too"
Now, women are going to crossfit and training, just look around, the female body is evolving, they're plenty capable of pulling anyone out of a burning houseComment -

#47So, we all know by now what Ayesha Curry tweeted about the NBA being rigged. The Giant has a great running thread about it, here's a link to it
So Stephen A. Smith came out and said some things to Ayesha Curry and about Ayesha Curry that are downright sexist and pretty infuriating.
Here is an excerpt of what he said:
She stepped out of line. She stepped out of pocket. I’m trying to sound as appropriate as I possibly can. You are the wife of Steph Curry. What you do is a reflection on him. What you do is a reflection on the organization he works for. You have to be mindful of that. You can’t get caught up in your own individual emotions and having this zest to speak out, to the point where it compromises your husband.
http://deadspin.com/stephen-a-smith-thinks-ayesha-curry-should-act-more-li-1782178105
Now, lets address the overall message he is conveying, THAT WOMEN SHOULD NOT HAVE A VOICE. That her husbands career comes before her right to have a voice and to use it. He says that because she is the wife of Steph Curry, she must temper her emotions and her comments are a reflection on Steph, that she shouldn't speak out and compromise her husband. He then goes on to call her remark CLASSLESS
GO Fukk yourself you piece of shit.
He takes it one step further and gives her an example of how to act by using LeBrons's mother and wife, and tells Ayesha to sit there and stay silent and doesn't bring any attention to herself.
The bigger problem here is STEPHEN A SMITH has a pulpit and his message is that women should stay silent

#48Iwatched a min, dont have the tjme to watch fully right now
But I will say, just because an intellectual man "beats" a feminist woman in an argument, it doesnmt mean anything other than he made his point better. It doesn't mean he's correct, or he would've had the same success against other feminists.Comment -

#54Im not saying some don't, many male ifbb pros juice as well
A better example of women maximizng their natural strength would be to go into a crossift gym and watch them knock out 200-300lb squats, 400lb deadlifts, and pullups
Im not arguing women and men are bilogically the same, we're clearly not, hormones are what they are, certainly doesn't imply men are the superior sex in any way
But we were all born of women, and should all be feministsComment -

Have you considered that every females definition of feminism maybe different??
It's the main reason why in theory it sounds good but the practical aspects of it will be difficult to attain simply because women cannot agree to agree (and that's coming out of the mouth of a feminist ie a former GF of mine)..Comment -

#63"I'm outraged because I feel like somebody on TV said something that is insensitive by my own standards!" That's nice.
The wives should have as much of a voice as any other fan. After all, they aren't the ones playing. They have more than usual however because people want to follow them on Twitter more than they want to follow us, and SAS took somebody's tweets, ran with it, and got exactly what he wanted -- a reaction. You think he cares if you agree? You continue to line his pockets while he laughs. You're doing all the work for him. High five!Comment -
