No one can reverse the mistakes of the past....and if they were given citizenship then they are citizens but the 14th amendment was never designed to address illegal immigrants coming here just to drop anchor babies and abuse welfare then staying to "take care of" (get on welfare themselves) their US citizen children....it's a ridiculous idea to suggest this was the intention of the 14th amendment. The Constitution is certainly up for interpretation by the Supreme Court but the very concept of building a wall and having immigration laws are contrary to the idea of encouraging border hopping to drop anchor babies.
