They are beating them with their B team. If they had all their players pens would get swept. This is a dangerous bet backing the penguins. They are built to beat the caps, but they aren't built to beat the lightning. The lightning play like the pens but the lightning do it better.

It's one game you need to remember that. Last round stars, caps and islanders would have been crowned if we based everything on one game of action

No one gets swept in NHL playoffs.
The players missing are irrelevant and probably an addition by subtracting.
Crosby could wear John smith jersey and no one would notice because everyone is the same.

They got out shot 35-20....and pens played horrible.
