Chapman coming back soon, but this team has a ton of holes. Only team that's scored less runs is the Braves. Blow it up and rebuild

This has to be one of the fastest Yankees-Red Sox games I have ever seen. Wright is just dominating Yankees tonight.

17-13 Red Sox with the far superior pitcher were +105 (after opening at -106) against the 11-17 Yankees and their winless counterpart, with the public hammering Boston.

                    Go figure.

These lines are a joke this year. Nothing makes sense.

I took Boston for 1st 5, but was wondering the whole time if I was missing something when I saw the line.

Just more line movement fail in a season full of it.

If you beat the closer on a regular basis this year, you're getting beaten like a rented mule.

Just wonderint why you constantly refer to beating the closer? Why would anyone think that is helpful?

The Yankees are trying to stay relevant without tanking the season. As a Yankees fan, I can respect not going full 76ers for the entire year. Give me a team around 500. That's basically what they are. Does anyone really expect them to not go on a winning streak the entire year?

They are basically treading water until the major contracts are up this year and next (ARod, Tex, CC). Those contracts are from years ago and we got a championship in 2009 out of it. Did anyone really expect this day not to come? I keep seeing people say blow the team up. How? Who is going to trade for these contracts and players at the back end of their careers? Fire Girardi? To bring in who? What pisses me off is their apparent hate for small ball and hitting against the shifts for the easy runs to maybe gain some momentum.

From what I understand, they are going to throw a ton of money at Harper when he's a free agent in the coming years. I like Castro and Didi. McCann is a gamer and I don't think he likes losing. Eovaldi has untapped potential. Greg Bird will make a nice 1B. Refsnyder needs to learn how to catch the ball with his glove and not his face. As of now, the back end of the bullpen is a lock and if need be they can trade 1 of the 3 (Betances, Miller, Chapman). Severino needs to get his shit together because he is better than this. Last night was a glimpse. Struck out a ton but left a lot over the plate.

All in all, I think they can be back to a winning team in 4 years. That's my 2 cents.

                                            I don't think they will lose 100.

Franchise does need a reboot though. They have made the playoffs 18 of the last 20 years. It's about time.

Could be returning the George Costanza days.

They were still on a pace to lose 100 when the thread was made. Now on a pace to be .500. I'm still not optimistic they are a playoff team. Looking better though
