No he Didnt, but common sense tells him and us, he won't make the same mistakes in the second fight..that was his biggest mistake. We saw in the first round and a half that he is the far superior striker and wrestler, the way he easily sweeped diaz and ended up on top, his ground game isnt as far under diaz's as many untrained eyes would rather believe. The striking diffrence is much larger...

And I'm done with this thread.

Well unless you want my best friend who just got his black belt last night to explain it to you.
Chris Haueter, who I'm sure you know with your trained eye, is in the pic with him.

Who became the panicked wrestler and got choked out. Doesn't sound like a ground and standup specialist. BTW 1 round does not make a Fight.

Diaz will tap anyone in the ufc if he gets their back, but if mcgregor gets top control, diaz is helpless...your going off a gassed, on queer street mcgregor....the first round is more telling then anything that happen on the ground at that point.

Conor looked lost on the ground in the 1st round when he gained the dominant position.

Thanks for making my point of the whole purpose behind my wager. The minute diaz looked good also doesn't make the fight, I'd rather be on the guy that dominated the first 8 minutes of the fight coming in with a better gameplan.

Anyone can be beat on any given night, against anyone, diaz landed his shot. But if they fight 10 times over, diaz loses 8 of the 10.

Jibby shut your stupid ass up, you think anyone here with any type of sense, would take your opinion on a fight over mine?

This has been a bad few months for sharps, when you find a gambler beside me that made over 100 units to start this year, with usda testing going on and so much fluke shit happening, tell me about him, i,d like to meet the 2nd best....you take out the fluke anderson bisping fight, and I'd be up close to 150 units without that one big swing, I'm a absolute fukin monster, and there isn't a man alive that can come close...

i fixed the mcgregor letter to save people time,

i need to hide in my cave in iceland and avoid any media, i need to protect my image. i can't be doing interviews months away from the event, answering the same questions on how i felt losing to nate diaz on 11 days notice after all the shit talking i did. just look at how popular i am, look at my retweets, look at my ppvs, the bum-fc needs me. please dana let me hide in my cave just for this fight.

                                          Gents,

Just got the scoop live and direct from someone within the UFC.

The UFC wanted Conor to do a lot of press conferences and interviews etc.. and spent $10 million just with that. However just with a tweet, Conor gave them back 3 times that value. This way UFC gets what they want and he does not have to do all the press related obligations and can focus on training.

Makes sense if you think about it because each press conference takes a lot away from Conor due to the time and effort he must put in. He's not just saying the same old stuff like everyone else. He's coming up with all sorts of creative shit! He puts on a show for the fans and that's why hes the hottest ticket in the UFC right now.

As per usual the ticket sales begin to stagnate every so often and a major curve ball such like this will drastically increase the PPV buys. UFC makes a boat load off increased ticket sales and Conor will be paid. Chillen like a CERTIFIED boss

Cheers boys have a good night. King will be back

We saw in the first round and a half that he is the far superior striker and wrestler, the way he easily sweeped diaz and ended up on top, his ground game isnt as far under diaz's as many untrained eyes would rather believe. The striking diffrence is much larger...
Josh, Nate` actually took Conor down rather easily and got lazy standing over him. Nate was bent at the waist - a big no no in the BJJ game. Nate won't get lazy again. Conor then shot at the end of the fight, got stuffed, guillotined, swept, and mounted. Nate's skill is too good for Conor and he's too big for him on the ground. Lastly, Nate was working fine off his back in those 30 seconds Conor was on top and Conor landed 1 or 2 punches - that was it. Conor was defending Nate's legs most of the time.

Conor unbalanced Nate with an X-guard sweep and then hit it. That was actually pretty well done. The ground game Nate displayed tells us little about an actual ground battle between them, as Conor was basically KO'ed. That's not to say that he wouldnt dominate though, he probably would.

But thinking the media and everything Conor had to do hasn't taken away from his preparation is silly. Boxers literally work themselves up in tiny increments in weight, Conor jumped up 2 weightclasses from his normal fight weight.

Diaz picked him apart and took McGregor's best shot a few times. Diaz wins rematch if it takes place.

White also told TMZ on Monday that the McGregor-Diaz fight is 100 percent off.
"I feel like the scene in 'Step Brothers' when they ask if they can build the bunk beds," White said. "I don't know how many more times I can say the fight is off or how many more press conferences I can have saying the fight is off for people to believe it's off."

You don't pull strings with the UFC heads after a loss and ask for favors, you man up and show up for the press conferences as scheduled.. Plenty of time to train before UFC 200...

Glad the UFC powers cancelled his spoiled diva ass for UFC 200.. He has no ground or cardio and is overrated anyways.. He's always been about the money and reputation and makes it known...

UFC is bigger then Connor McGregor especially after a bad loss too Nate.... Like DC said this is bad time for McGregor to pull a strong play against the UFC promotion engine.. If it was after a win I'd say maybe he can pull it off. The machine needs to make money thru pre fight press conferences.. As a fighter you need to take a couple hours out of the busy schedule to promote your own fights even if you train and live over seas..

McGregor should be training here in the States with the best fighters and training camps anyways.. He may not win another UFC fight IMO.. He has no Jits skills or cardio.. Just take the guy into later rounds and take him down and you win it's that simple.. Nate exposed him in a bad way.. Broke his invincibility and mind game powers IMO..
