Why would you take Iowa laying all those points?

JJ asks a valid question. I have Iowa winning by only 1 point and think that 7 point line is inflated for multiple reasons. I would not take Iowa -7.
It actually triggers a Temple +7 for me but then again, my numbers by themselves did very well today overall and wouldn't be surprised if a few fail tomorrow, at least against the spread.
Also, I see some alignment amongst groups on Temple, which could be a concern for the +7.

Can we resist college ball especially this tournament? Maybe that's part of the problem I met this clown at a local casino who told me he flys out to Vegas every year for March madness and crushes the books guy reminded me of a wannabe wise guy...fake jewelry and shit needless to say I was young and was just a poker player looking back now

KVB seems to pick both sides on every writeup he does.
Hedging his writeups, they're quite amazing.

To be clear...I have Iowa winning by 1 point. I would not take the piontspread in this game as it is suspect for a few reasons.
I sure as hell would NOT take Temple to win. Iowa to win is the only option but is overpriced at this point.
I am passing The Giant.

That's because you don't believe in the numbers including the sharp ones, win or lose, which provide an excellent rodamap to the theatrics.
This tournament not that crazy yet, in my opinion.

He doesn't need numbers and roadmaps, he needs winners!!! 99% of human population is plain stupid, same is true for the SBR, and jjgold is just one of them! Just give him a winner, and he will appreciate it like a kid would appreciate a new bicycle, like a whore would appreciate being screwed like a whore, etc

I'm just saying that it's best to build yourself a roadmap with the games before they start because once the bullets start flying, and things aren't as expected, it will be easier to adjust in the fog of war.
We don't win them all JJ, and we don't always win, but sometimes it helps to know why you lost, and not just to chalk it up to crazy college kids.
These markets are full of unsophisticated money and knowledgeable bettors should take advantage.

CSU Bakersfield is a good defensive team but can they keep up? Still the line is fishy, its either CSU Bakersfield or no play.

Sometimes my line can vary quite a bit from the market and I'm not afraid to admit it. For example, I had FGCU actually beating 23 point favorite North Carolina by a point triggering a +23 point bet which won.
While many unsophisticated models have Oklahoma winning by low double digits my sharper numbers actually forecast Cal State Bakersfield winning by mid double digits.
You read that right and it is my feel, much like the NC game, that this line is, at best, inflated.
I don’t have time for more input here now but I agree, CSU Bakersfield or nothing here.
In my opinion, those that take Oklahoma by more than a dozen points and win aren’t likely to profit overall during the short or long term. Some may break the mold, but most won’t know why they won, just like the same bettors won’t know why the lost if the OK spread fails.

I see non predictive models giving Dame up to a 3 point win and I give Dame a less then 2 point win.
This line sits at 3 with heavy tickets on Notre Dame. The game isn't until later and I don't think this line is moving a whole lot (I could be wrong as the day matures). A line movement could already be coming, built in with these levels.
I need more info, but no real discrepencies here, accept for the flood of public action on Notre Dame.
So why isn't this line more inflated? I am waiting for more info to see if it can be determined, then I'll see if I can determine it.
